The Dig Safe North Idaho 811 center supports 811 services for Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, and Shoshone counties in Idaho.

It is vitally important that you call or submit a locate request before digging on any project—large or small. Locate requests can be submitted online via ITICnxt or over the phone by calling either 1-800-428-4950 or 8-1-1.* The Dig Safe North Idaho center accepts locate requests from contractors, homeowners, or anyone else planning to dig in Idaho’s Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, and Shoshone counties.

*Please note that the 811 call-routing system is based on the physical location you are calling from and/or the cell tower that routes your call. 2026 Shoshone Benewah One Call Update: Shoshone Benewah One Call (SBOC) has entered into an agreement with One Call Concepts, Inc. (OCC), under which OCC will provide all one call services for Shoshone and Benewah counties in Idaho, effective October 1, 2026.
